Discover art that moves you during this fun-filled week of art making, family tours, special community guests, and gallery activities, all inspired by works of art in the DMA's collection. Spring Break programs are held daily March 14–17.

Movement Scavenger Hunt
11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Main Guest Services Desk
Search the collection for lines that wiggle, shapes that dance, and art that inspires movement! Pick up a kid-friendly scavenger hunt to move and groove your way through the Museum.

Sensory Haven
11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Level M2
Need a place to take a break? Drop in anytime throughout the day to relax and explore quiet activities. All ages are welcome!

Sculpture Station
Noon–2:00 p.m., Level 1
Be inspired by sculptures at the DMA! Use materials like pipe cleaners, twist ties, cardboard, and more to build your own sculpture. Add it to our mini sculpture garden or take it home!

Art-Making Activity: Art in Motion
1:00–4:00 p.m., Founders Room
Create tricky optical illusions by combining and layering shapes, patterns, and lines! Drop by the art room to create your own optical art spinner, and then contribute to a collaborative sculpture by local artist Art Garcia. 

Color & Light Play!
1:00–4:00 p.m., Chilton Studio
Calling all wiggle worms! Join us to explore and tinker at play stations themed around color and light.

Story Time Tour
2:00–2:30 p.m., Main Guest Services Desk
From tall tales and legends to daring adventures and fairy tales—every work of art has a story! Join DMA Education staff for an interactive story time themed around artworks from the Museum's collection.

Community Guest Spotlight
1:00–2:00 p.m., Various locations

MathFinder March MATHness Challenge
March 1–31
During the week of Spring Break and all month long, take the March MATHness Callenge! Explore Dallas and math at the same time and win prizes. Go to the MathFinder website and click on the challenge tab to find activities inspired by the DMA, Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Zoo, Frontiers of Flight Museum, and more.
