Summer Camp: Beyond Canvas

Go beyond the canvas in this camp focused on the joys of paint. Learn how artists throughout time have transformed canvases into images of faraway lands or splashes of pure color. Sketch from works of art in the Museum's galleries and then take on the challenge of new ideas and materials to create your own inspired canvases and more. Experiment with watercolor and tempera, transform 3D objects into 2D pictures, and mix a personalized color palette on your path to painting perfection.
