You are invited to the 2nd Annual White Cane Day Celebration!

The Dallas Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind will host the event in partnership with the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, and Central Market.

What is White Cane Day?

White Cane Day celebrates the achievements and independence of people who are blind or visually impaired. The white cane symbolizes the ability to navigate safely and independently, and this day recognizes the importance of accessibility and inclusion.

Event Details

· Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025

· Time: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM

· Location: Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora Street, Dallas, Texas 75201

Event Highlights

· Engaging speaker sharing inspiring stories

· Awareness Walk around the Nasher supported by DMA staff

· Live performances by talented individuals

· Light refreshments (available while supplies last)

· Audio tours of the Nasher Sculpture Center

Who Should Attend?

· Families with blind or visually impaired children, teens, adults, or seniors

· All community members are welcome.

With several school districts on fall break, this is a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a free, enriching experience together.
