Explore the challenges and restrictions experienced by female artists seeking professional careers in the visual arts as we discuss the exhibition Women Artists in Europe from the Monarchy to Modernism in the galleries. Be inspired by their triumphs and take your insight back to the Tech Lab to create your own newspaper front page of what women will achieve next.

Zine Club is a studio workshop series for high school students that invites you to respond to works of art in the DMA's collection through art making and writing. Work created during Zine Club is published in a zine—a self-published book of original creations—that will be circulated in the Museum. Zine Club is completely free and snacks are provided!
