DMA Community Programs volunteers facilitate off-site DMA experiences for youth, families, and adults in Dallas communities. Volunteers serve as teaching assistants in multi-session weekday afterschool programs and single-session weekend workshops, encouraging attendees to make connections to works of art in the Museum's collection and express their creativity through art-making activities.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Assist with two programs per month
- Remain in the program for a period of one year
- Undergo background check through Verified Volunteers
- Be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Possess a valid driver's license and transportation to off-site events
