Arturo's Preschool is a free program for preschool, homeschool, and daycare groups serving children ages 3–6. Take an up-close look at a work of art, read a featured picture book, and try out games and movement activities connected to artworks. Then explore ideas through an art-making activity.
Once Upon a Time
From knights and castles to dragons and princesses, there's a fairytale around every corner! In this class, we'll step into the world of fairytales as we find inspiration in works from the Museum's collection.
What's the Weather?
The DMA weather forecast predicts this class will be cloudy with a chance of art! Grab your snow boots and explore how artists portray wintry days, and then create your own weather masterpiece in the studio.
Lion Lessons
Embrace your inner lion in seven easy steps! Learn how to become a proper lion as we search for the king of the jungle on a humorous art safari inspired by the children's book Lion Lessons.
